Medical Writer

Immediate need for a talented Medical Writer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Boston, MA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $55/hr - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Author moderately complex clinical regulatory documents in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Lead the medical writing efforts for clinical studies, ensuring scientific integrity.
• Support the Medical Lead in reviewing and interpreting clinical study data.
• Develop key messages for regulatory documents and ensure consistency across studies.
• Analyze and interpret data to guide document composition effectively.
• Contribute to product development plans and serve as a coordinating author.
• Participate in developing standard operating processes and related procedures.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

• PhD or equivalent in Medical Writing (Required).
• Typically requires 4+ years of experience in medical writing or related fields.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Experience writing and editing clinical regulatory documents.
• Broad understanding of drug development, clinical research, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills related to document management systems and electronic review systems.
