As a 3rd Shift Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping high-speed printing, finishing, packaging, and mail processing machinery running safely and efficiently. Working Sunday through Thursday from 10:30pm to 6:30am in Lenexa, KS, you will support high volume production by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on complex industrial equipment.

• SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am
• PAY RATE: $27.00hr +$1.00hr differential

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on mechanical and electromechanical production machinery.
• Disassemble and repair machines, replace worn or broken parts, and adjust components to meet operational standards.
• Clean and lubricate moving parts and order replacement components as needed.
• Diagnose electrical faults and repair low voltage systems including wiring, motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
• Troubleshoot and support automation controls including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and related equipment.
• Serve as a resource for resolving complex mechanical or electrical issues across the production floor.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of complex industrial equipment.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as Digital Multimeter (DMM), Clamp meter, Continuity tester, Non-contact voltage tester, and Logic probe.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic repairs.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Completion of required pre-employment screening.
• Steel-toe safety footwear required on first day.
• Consistent and punctual attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sheetfed Offset Printing Presses.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing, print, bindery, inserting, packaging, or fulfillment equipment.
